Advanced Composite Solutions offers services to manufacturers using a broad range of fabrics and sheet products.  We are able to completely eliminate the need for any in-house cutting of materials.  We can free up labor and facilities to help maximize your production profits while increasing quality, efficiency and accuracy of your pieces.

Facilities

Advanced Composite Solutions performs all cutting and kitting in an environmentally controlled clean room.  We use the state-of-the-art, 6’ x 24’ Gerber Vacuum Table Cutting CNC.

We are capable of using a variety of roller and tangential knives, as well as punches and drills, to achieve the highest accuracy cuts on any material.  Our digitizing table and various CAD programs allow us to create, import, and alter any desired patterns you require quickly and affordably.

Experience

ACS is more than just a cutting and kitting facility.  We are also a rapid prototype and production tool maker as well as an aircraft composites production facility.  We have years of experience in the creation and utilization of various patterns and pieces.

We are able to work within the most stringent tracking and quality systems.  Experience and expertise with aerospace gives us an edge when working within the most detailed tracking requirements.

CAD Services

The process is fast and easy.  If you can provide us with either digitized files, a template, or the piece measurements we will take it from there.

Digitizing

Our digitizing table allows us to convert any piece or pattern into a digital format (CAD files).  We can digitize pieces up to 6’x 24’ to a very high tolerance and almost unlimited sizes if tolerances are flexible.  This service is offered with or without cutting services.

Large Scale Plots & Pattern Making

Plotting capabilities up to 6’x24’ are available for large scale layouts and templates used in design manufacturing and engineering applications.

Markers

Markers can be created for the apparel and soft goods industry and exported to a desired format for cutting.

Drawing

CAD drawing services are available to create patterns or templates that do not yet exist.

Nesting

Advanced part nesting software allows us to create the most efficient nests to maximize material utilization and minimize waste.
